KENNING LEARNING CO. SCHOOL OF THE HUMANITIES
Read Carefully. Think Critically. Communicate Effectively.
We are currently building a cohesive experience for homeschool families. Our family-owned School of the Humanities begins with three carefully designed live small-group Mastery Academies for learners working within the middle-school range.

Kenning Learning Co. is a Direct Pay provider for Florida Step Up For Students scholarships. Families with FES-UA, FTC, FES-EO, or PEP scholarships can use available scholarship funds to cover tuition.
Homeschooling Gives Families the Freedom to Choose
That freedom also includes deciding when a student would benefit from learning with a subject-area educator, joining a small academic community, or receiving additional opportunities for feedback and discussion. Families may choose one Kenning Learning academy or several according to their student's educational path.
Foundational Skills
At Kenning Learning, literacy means more than reading and writing. It is the ability to read, understand, evaluate, communicate, and create meaning.

Every Mastery Academy strengthens these abilities through the tools and practices of its discipline. Students develop reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, writing, communication, and evidence-based reasoning while learning to apply those skills with increasing independence.
Intellectual Habits
Strong skills give students the tools to engage with difficult questions and ideas. Through inquiry, discussion, writing, and reflection, students learn to evaluate evidence, consider different perspectives with intellectual humility, explain their reasoning, respond thoughtfully to feedback, and revise their thinking when the evidence calls for it.
Â
Over time, these habits help students develop the confidence and independence to think for themselves.
We believe that when parents direct their children's education, they create a learning environment that honors unique readiness, individual interests, and family values.
